Can you see a theme?

There are two reasons for this post.
First to show off my cute son.
Second to show off my Christmas present* from Court..
Both of them are ROCK ON

{don't mind the yelling in the background, they are just playing a video game no one is actually getting hurt}

* my present is a camcorder not the guitar.. or airplane in the video.. just to clarify

Rocking around the Christmas tree..

after seeing Gibson with his head all wet
we had the following conversation.

Me: Hey buddy, cool hair you got there.

Gibson: It's ROCK ON, Mommy.

Me: Indeed it is, Son.

Hope your Christmas, much like Gibson's hair, is ROCK ON!

That ROCKS

-It ROCKS that my mom came to my house and cooked delicious meals for us while I am out of commission.
-Kuerig coffee makers ROCK, seriously they are amazing, I already was addicted to coffee now it is to the point of ridiculousness.
-My husband taking care of the kids and me while my back is hurt, ROCKS
-People who take care of my kids at church because I can't, ROCK
-Aria's teacher that have been making sure her hair is put in adorable ponies because her mommy can't, ROCKS
-It ROCKS that my sister baked for me (Andrea if you are reading this SEND COOKIES, subtle huh?)
-It ROCKS that I have had time to read (and start this blog)
-Small group ROCKED tonight
-People who are praying for me Rock
-My little girl taking her first "step" ROCKS

and finally:
"Be cheerful no matter what; pray all the time; thank God no matter what happens. This is the way God wants you who belong to Christ Jesus to live." 1 Thessalonians 5 :18

-Having a reason to be thankful no matter what, that ROCKS

Coming soon.....

There are so many things to be thankful for.
Sometimes when everything seems awful Court reminds me to think of a few things to be thankful for.
Our son just started to do in his own "Gibson" way.
He sings a song that Court made up for him.
It started with "Mommy rocks, Daddy rocks, Gibson rocks, Aria rocks".
Now he goes around singing this song for EVERYTHING.
Cup rocks, Elmo rocks, Ketchup rocks, light shoes rock, Thomas rocks, (you get the idea).
So following my son's lead there will be a thankful, "that rocks", list.
Soon.
