Our 5Th Anniversary is tomorrow.

We celebrated early at the "Melting Pot"

5 years and counting..

Court and I were confused by his salad..

No, we don't get out much

Dear Court,

I put a lot of thought into this post..

I was going to write and acrostic using our names but there aren't many good words that start with K unless I spell a word that should start with C with a K. But you know my feelings on that matter..

So I thought about writing you a Haiku..

But since I am not really sure what a Haiku is I decided to pass on that one too..

I thought about writing you a song,

but since you still won't let me live down the notebook full of songs I wrote when I was 12,

I decided I did not want to risk more ridicule..

(I bet if Hillsong wrote a song in titled TV life you would think it was genius.)

Then I thought about a poem,

but couldn't decide on what type.

Then realized it was too close to a song, and clearly my bitterness over you mocking me is still rooted deep..

so no poem..

I could have written you a story

but realized this post was already too long..

so here is what you get.

Your are my best friend..

You are the love of my life and that will mean more when I am 60

You make me laugh

(especially when you end a joke with: that's funny, right?)

You encourage me to be better

But love me even when I mess up..

You are the best father to our children

You laugh at my jokes

You have accepted my shoe habit..

I love you..

I thank God that I have you for a husband..

And that our kids have you for a father.

Our 4Th year of marriage is going to be.

It's Court and my anniversary this week..

The other day I found our wedding invites on my computer.

Court, it has been 4 years.

I really enjoyed our invites..

I would not be upset if I got this
