It's a bird, it's a plane

Gibson has an alter ego..

It's Super Gibson..

As far as Superhero names go, I guess that one doesn't keep his secret identity that secret..

He has been wearing his cape everywhere..

The store..

school...

church...

I believe it has something to do with his friend Connor, who we visited for New Years.

Connor had an awesome "Super Why" costume..

Whatever inspired him, it is adorable...

Today he wore his cape to school..

He was (ever so gently that I feel it doesn't even qualify as a hit) hit by a block..

He proceeded to have a freak out...

One of his friends said

" Superheroes don't cry"...

So my big brave boy...

Stopped crying...

stood up straight...

straight enough to rip his cape off..

and wailed...

Well, every Superhero has the thing that will bring him to his knees ..

Superman has kryptonite..

My son has blocks..

They're basically the same thing..

Side note: trying to photograph a Superhero is hard work..
