I really can cook

I felt the need to clarify that because in all honesty I could eat fast food or take out all the time and be happy. I know its unhealthy. I understand that. But I also understand that the diced onion and pickle combination on a McDonald's cheeseburger is a thing of beauty.
However despite how much I love food that I do not make, we have decided to really cut down on eating out and just getting food on the go. So in an unprecedented gesture I decided to bake a cake. I do not bake. Every year we make fudge for Christmas ( OK only twice and once the fudge did not make it, I used margarine instead of butter or something, regardless I made chocolate soup) but that doesn't really count.
I digress, tonight I decided to bake a cake. I enlisted the help of a freshly bathed 2 year old, girded with a froggy towel and his trusty step stool. Together we accomplished an incredible feat. Together, before that little boy's head hit his pillow, we baked the legendary NANA cake. A bundt cake so delicious it has been in my husbands' family for generation after generation.
I am very proud of the cake, and if I do say so myself, it is delicious. You know what else is delicious? A McDonald's cheeseburger...........
